Sie spielen hauptsächlich Post-Hardcore und dass vom feinsten. Story Of The Year gründeten sich 1996 unter dem Namen Big Blue Monkey. 2002 benannten sie sich jedoch in Story Of The Year um.
Ihr neustes Album The Black Swan ist einfach nur genial. Gleich beim ersten hören hat mich das Album The Black Swan Überzeugt. The Black Swan gehört auf jeden fall in jede gut Musiksamlung.
